Multi-shoot seed openers are available in sideband or paired row options.

Replaceable tips are available with or without vertical seed/fertilizer separation.

Multi-Shoot Considerations
When using multi-shoot seed openers, mixing between seed and fertilizer may occur.
SIDE BAND SEED OPENERS

Fertilizer Type: Granular N, Granular N + Liquid Phos, Liquid N, and Liquid N + Liquid Phos
Overview: Seed is placed in a 3/4″ (19 mm) band onto a firm, unfractured seedbed. Fertilizer is delivered in a band off to the side (right or left) on the same level as the seed. The GP & LP openers deliver the liquid phos on top of the seed.
Replaceable cast chrome tip included with assembly.

Fertilizer Type: Granular N, Granular N + Liquid Phos, Liquid N, and Liquid N + Liquid Phos
Overview: Seed is placed in a 3/4″ (19 mm) band above and to the side of the fertilizer row, the tip’s wing seals the fertilizer trench. Fertilizer is placed in the center 3/4″ (19mm) below the seed. The GP & LP openers deliver the liquid phos on top of the seed.

Fertilizer Type: Liquid NH3, Pressurized NH3
Overview: The slim body provides a low draft and low soil disturbance for better trash clearance while ensuring great seed placement. Liquid N or Pressurized NH3 places fertilizer behind the wing and outward to the side away from the seed band, providing increased separation of seed and fertilizer.
Non-replaceable cast chrome tip welded to the seed boot.

Overview: This is the only multi-shoot opener available for use with the Speed-Loc™ system. It provides good horizontal separation with a slight vertical seed/fertilizer separation. These openers work very well when used with a pressurized liquid system.
Non-replaceable high-chrome welded tip.
