Ripper points tackle soil compaction issues by increasing fracturing across the soil profile so water can move freely through the soil, giving plant roots easier access to essential nutrients and increasing crop yield. The Richmond line of ripper points is designed to stand up in adverse, rocky conditions with little to no damage or breakage and has outlasted competitive points in side-by-side field testing. Wear protection is built into the ripper design, so when it’s time to change points, it’s fast, easy, and you can reuse attaching hardware.
The high center crown design of Richmond cast cultivator sweeps gives an overall smoother field finish with considerably less slabbing in sticky conditions. Sweeps have an aggressive point and a more durable cutting edge for excellent weed-cutting and an unbeatable wear-life.
Shank savers prevent wear on the sides of a shank and are created using the same long-lasting chrome-cast material as ripper points. Two styles are available with custom-fabrication possible to fit most brands.
