PAIRED ROW TIP
Works with the VOS (Versatile Opener System) which gives you the flexibility to choose the right tip and fertilizer tubes for your needs.
Fertilizer Type: Granular, Liquid, aqua NH3, aqua NH3 + Phos
Seed Placement: Seed is directed rearward into two distinctive 3-1/2” (89mm, center-center) seed rows onto a firm, moist, seedbed and 3/4” (19mm) above the fertilizer band.
Fertilizer Placement: Delivers fertilizer 3/4” (19mm) below the seedbed in a 3/4” (19mm) wide band between two seed rows. Carbide inserts on the underside of the tip wing ensure the fertilizer trench is sealed, eliminating NH3 gassing. Also re-firms the seedbed.
Packer Recommendation: 4” (102mm) or wider.
Overview: 4″ (102mm) paired row cast chrome tip with carbide insert on the nose for excellent penetration and wear resistance. Tips have 3/4″ (19mm) vertical separation of granular, liquid, aqua NH3, or aqua NH3 + phos fertilizer. Carbide inserts on the underside of the wing maintain a sharp cutting edge. Carbide inserts on the back underside of the wings seal the fertilizer trench prior to seed placement. Designed for 1-1/4” (31mm) OD hose. Bushing is available for smaller hoses.
Not recommended for use on Case IH 800/900 or NH P2070.
610-TIP-4082 has additional carbide below the wings, along the side of the fertilizer trench, to provide extra-wear life.
